












Founded in the first half of the 20th century by Torcuato Modarelli, located on the left bank of the Aluminé river at the confluence of the Kilka and Aluminé rivers, the ranch lies in the center-west of the Neuquén province of Neuquén on the Andes mountain range and 25 km from the head town of the province.
It is a typical work establishment of these latitudes nestled in the midst of the imposing mountain landscape of the transitional Andes. The area preserves the typical stamp of those Patagonian ranch that were dedicated traditionally to the breeding of Australian merino sheep and cattle.
La Querencia is located within a circuit that bypasses several lakes: Aluminé, Rucha Choroy, Quillén, Moquehue, Ñorquinco, Nonpehuen, Pilhue and Pulmarí. Distant 40 and 60 km respectively are three other wonderful lakes: Ruca Choroy, Quillén and Hui Hui.
